Biography of Roman Sergejewitsch Filippow

Roman Sergejewitsch Filippow (* 24. January 1936 in Simferopol; † 18. February 1992 in Moscow) was a soviet actor. He was 56 years old. He studied at M.S. Schepkin Higher Theatre School. He worked at Moscow Pushkin Drama Theatre, Mosconcert and Yanka Kupala National Academic Theatre. His awards include People's Artist of the RSFSR, Honored Artist of the Belarusian SSR and Order of the Badge of Honour. His cause of death was thromboembolism. He was buried at Troyekurovskoye cemetery.
