Ron Silver (* July 2, 1946 in Manhattan; † March 15, 2009 in Manhattan) was an american actor and activist. He was 62 years old. He had 2 children. His education included University at Buffalo, Columbia University, St. John's University, School of International and Public Affairs, Columbia University, Stuyvesant High School, East Side Hebrew Institute and HB Studio. His awards include Tony Award for Best Actor in a Play and Audie Award for Best Male Narrator. His cause of death was esophageal cancer. He was buried at Westchester Hills Cemetery.
