Biography of Ruben Drampyan

Ruben Drampyan (* 17. June 1891 in Gyumri; † 10. March 1991 in Yerevan) was a soviet art historian. He was 99 years old. His education included First Tiflis Male Gymnasium, Saint Petersburg State University and Lomonosov Moscow State University. He worked at Russian Museum, National Gallery of Armenia, Yerevan State Institute of Fine Arts and Theater and Institute of Art of Armenia. He was awarded the Honored Art Worker of the Armenian SSR. He was buried at Komitas Pantheon.
