Biography
Russell Hoban (* February 4, 1925 in Lansdale; † December 13, 2011 in London) was an american expatriate writer and illustrator. He was 86 years old. He was married to Lillian Hoban and Gundula Ahl. His awards include Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature, Ditmar Award and John W. Campbell Memorial Award for Best Science Fiction Novel. He was buried at Mortlake Crematorium.
