Biography of Rut Bryk

Rut Bryk (* 18. October 1916 in Stockholm; † 14. November 1999 in Helsinki) was a finnische Künstlerin und Keramikerin. She was 83 years old. She was married to Tapio Wirkkala. She studied at Aalto University. She worked at Arabia. She received 5 awards, including Knight First Class of the Order of the White Rose of Finland, doctor honoris causa of the University of Helsinki. She was buried at Hietaniemi cemetery.
