Biography of S. L. Sobolʹ

S. L. Sobolʹ (* 12. August 1893 in Odesa; † 1. December 1960 in Moscow) was a biologist, historian of science. He was 67 years old. He studied at Odesa University. He worked at Communist Academy, Государственное издательство биологической и медицинской литературы, Russian Academy of Sciences and S.I. Vavilov Institute for the History of Natural Science and Technology. His awards include Stalin Prize, 3rd degree, Order of the Badge of Honour and Order of the Red Banner of Labour. He was buried at Vagankovo Cemetery.
