Sadako Ogata (* September 16, 1927 in Tokyo; † October 22, 2019 in Tokyo) was a japanese diplomat, political scientist and university teacher. She was 92 years old. She was married to Shijūrō Ogata. Her education included Georgetown University Law Center, University of California, Berkeley, Catlin Gabel School, University of Tokyo, Georgetown University, Walsh School of Foreign Service and Sacred Heart School. Her faith was Catholic Church. She received 7 awards, including Commander's Cross of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany, Order of Culture.
