Samuel E. Horne Jr. (* 26. July 1924; † 4. February 2006) was a goodrich chemist who first polymerized synthetic polyisoprene using Ziegler catalyst. He was 81 years old. He studied at Emory University. He was awarded the Charles Goodyear Medal.
