Sándor Weöres (* 22. June 1913 in Szombathely; † 22. January 1989 in Budapest) was an ungarischer Schriftsteller. He was 75 years old. His education included University of Pécs and Ferenc Faludi Real High School in Szombathely. He worked at Nyugat. His awards include Kossuth Prize and Austrian State Prize for European Literature.
