Biography of Sara Iredell Fleetwood

Sara Iredell Fleetwood (* 1. April 1849 in St. Louis; † 1. February 1908 in Washington, D.C.) was an african American nurse and teacher. She was 58 years old. She was married to Christian Fleetwood. Her education included Oberlin College, Institute for Colored Youth and Howard University Hospital. Her cause of death was diabetes.
