Satoshi Kon (* 12. October 1963 in Kushiro; † 24. August 2010 in Tokyo) was a japanese anime director and manga artist. He was 46 years old. His education included Musashino Art University and Hokkaido Kushiro Koryo High School. His awards include Winsor McCay Award and Best Animated Feature Film 2003. His cause of death was pancreatic cancer.
