Biography
Serge Lang (* May 19, 1927 in Saint-Germain-en-Laye; † September 12, 2005 in Berkeley) was a french-American mathematician. He was 78 years old. His education included California Institute of Technology, Princeton University and Beverly Hills High School. He received 5 awards, including Guggenheim Fellowship, Cole Prize in Algebra. He was buried at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
