Biography of Sergei Timofejewitsch Konjonkow

Sergei Timofejewitsch Konjonkow (* 28. June 1874 in Վերխնիե Կարակովիչի; † 9. October 1971 in Moscow) was a russischer und sowjetischer Bildhauer. He was 97 years old. He was married to Маргарита Конёнкова. His education included Moscow School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture and Higher Art School at the Imperial Academy of Arts. He received 8 awards, including Stalin Prize, Order of Lenin. He was buried at Novodevichy Cemetery.
