Biography of Sergei Trofimenko (1899-1953)

Sergei Trofimenko (* 10. September 1899 in Bryansk; † 16. October 1953 in Moscow) was a sowjetischer Generaloberst. He was 54 years old. His education included Vystrel course, M.V. Frunze Military Academy and Military Academy of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Russia. He received 4 awards, including Hero of the Soviet Union, Order of Lenin. He was buried at Novodevichy Cemetery.
