Sherman Hemsley (* 1. February 1938 in South Philadelphia; † 24. July 2012 in El Paso) was an american actor. He was 74 years old. His education included Edward W. Bok Technical High School, Negro Ensemble Company, Central High School, G.W. Childs Elementary School and American Academy of Dramatic Arts. His cause of death was lung cancer. He was buried at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
