Shulamith Firestone (* January 7, 1945 in Ottawa; † August 28, 2012 in New York) was a canadian born US feminist scholar, activist and writer. She was 67 years old. Her education included Washington University in St. Louis and School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Her faith was Orthodox Judaism.
