Sid Scales (* 17. July 1916 in Ashburton; † 7. March 2003 in Motueka) was a new Zealand cartoonist. He was 86 years old. His education included Central School of Art and Design and Ilam School of Fine Arts. He worked at Otago Daily Times and The Timaru Herald. He was awarded the Officer of the Order of the British Empire.
