Biography of Sisir Kumar Das

Sisir Kumar Das (* 7. November 1936 in Kolkata; † 7. May 2003 in Kolkata) was an indian linguist, poet, playwright, translator, comparatist and scholar. He was 66 years old. His education included University of Delhi, Presidency University, University of Calcutta and South Suburban School (Main). He worked at University of Delhi and SOAS, University of London.
