Snaur Gassijew (* 17. March 1925 in Tskhinval; † 6. March 2016 in Buzala) was a head of State of South Ossetia, 1991-1992. He was 90 years old. He studied at Higher Party School at the Central Committee of the CPSU. His awards include Order of the Badge of Honour and Order of Friendship.
