Biography of Şövkət Məmmədova

Şövkət Məmmədova (* 18. April 1897 in Tbilisi; † 8. June 1981 in Baku) was an aserbaidschanische Opernsängerin und Musiklehrerin. She was 84 years old. Her education included Milan Conservatory and Ukrainian National Academy of Music. She worked at Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts. She received 6 awards, including Order of Lenin, Order of the Badge of Honour. She was buried at Alley of Honor.
