Biography of Solomon Isaakowitsch Pekar

Solomon Isaakowitsch Pekar (* 16. March 1917 in Kyiv; † 8. July 1985 in Kyiv) was an ukrainischer Physiker und theoretischer Physiker. He was 68 years old. He studied at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. He worked at Institute of Physics NAS of Ukraine and Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. His awards include Order of the Badge of Honour, Order of the Red Banner of Labour and State Prize of Ukrainian SSR in Science and Technology.
