Biography of Sopiko Tschiaureli

Sofiko Chiaureli (* 21. May 1937 in Tbilisi; † 2. March 2008 in Tbilisi) was a soviet and Georgian actress. She was 70 years old. She was married to Giorgi Schengelaia and Kote Makharadze. She studied at Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography. She received 6 awards, including People's Artist of the Armenian SSR, USSR State Prize. Her cause of death was cancer. She was buried at Didube Pantheon.
