Biography of Stefan Swieżawski

Stefan Swieżawski (* 10. February 1907 in Gołębie, Lublin Voivodeship; † 1. January 2004 in Konstancin-Jeziorna) was a polnischer Mediävist. He was 96 years old. He studied at Lviv University. He worked at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, Jagiellonian University and John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin. He received 6 awards, including Order of the White Eagle, Idzi Radziszewski prize. He was buried at Forest Cemetery in Laski.
