Biography of Surin Pitsuwan

Surin Pitsuwan (* 28. October 1949 in Mueang Nakhon Si Thammarat; † 30. November 2017 in Ramkhamhaeng Hospital) was a thailändischer Außenminister. He was 68 years old. His education included Thammasat University, Harvard University, Kanlayanee Si Thammarat School and Benjamarachutit School. He worked at Harvard University and American University. His faith was Islam. He received 7 awards, including Order of the White Elephant, Order of the Crown of Thailand. His cause of death was myocardial infarction.
