Biography of Şıxəli Qurbanov

Şıxəli Qurbanov (* 16. August 1925 in Baku; † 24. May 1967 in Baku) was an aserbaidschanischer Staatsmann, Literaturwissenschaftler, Schriftsteller, Dichter und Dramatiker. He was 41 years old. He studied at Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University. He worked at Institute of Literature named after Nizami Ganjavi. He received 5 awards, including Medal "For Courage", Medal "For the Capture of Königsberg". His cause of death was poison. He was buried at Alley of Honor.
