Biography of Sylvain Lévi

Sylvain Lévi (* 28. March 1863 in Paris; † 30. October 1935 in Paris) was a französischer Indologe und Orientalist. He was 72 years old. His education included Lycée Charlemagne and École pratique des hautes études. He worked at Collège de France and École pratique des hautes études. His awards include Officer of the Legion of Honour and honorary doctor of the University of Calcutta.
