Biography of Sylvie Gentil

Sylvie Gentil (* 28. February 1958 in Saint-Maixent-l'École; † 28. April 2017 in 15th arrondissement of Paris) was a french translator from Chinese. She was 59 years old. Her education included Institut national des langues et civilisations orientales and Peking University. Her awards include Knight of the National Order of Merit and Grand prix de traduction de la ville d’Arles. Her cause of death was cancer.
