She was married to Christopher Plummer and Jeremy Slate. Her education included Beaver Country Day School and Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre. Her awards include Theatre World Award, Tony Award for Best Actress in a Play and Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Musical. Her cause of death was disease.
