Tāufaʻāhau Tupou IV of Tonga (* 4. July 1918 in Royal Palace of Nukuʻalofa; † 10. September 2006 in Auckland) was a king of Tonga. He was 88 years old. He was married to Halaevalu Mataʻaho ʻAhomeʻe. He had at least 2 children (2 sons). His education included University of Sydney and Tupou College. He was awarded the Grand Cross Special Class of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany. His cause of death was heart failure. He was buried at Mala'ekula.
