Teresa Berganza (* March 16, 1935 in Madrid; † May 13, 2022 in San Lorenzo de El Escorial) was a spanish mezzo-soprano. She was 87 years old. She was married to Félix Lavilla. She had 3 children. She studied at Madrid Royal Conservatory. She received 8 awards, including Princess of Asturias Award for the Arts, honorary doctor of the University of Madrid Complutense.
