Teru Hayashi (* 12. February 1914 in Atlantic City; † 18. December 2003 in Falmouth) was an american cell biologist. He was 89 years old. His education included University of Missouri and Ursinus College. He worked at Illinois Institute of Technology and Columbia University. His awards include Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, Fulbright Scholarship and Guggenheim Fellowship. His cause of death was cancer.
