Biography of Thomas Kirk

Thomas Kirk (* 18. January 1828 in Coventry; † 8. March 1898 in Wellington) was a botaniker und Pflanzenzüchter. He was 70 years old. He was married to Sarah Jane Kirk. He had at least 4 children (1 son and 3 daughters). He worked at Victoria University of Wellington, Lincoln University, Australian National University and Auckland War Memorial Museum Tāmaki Paenga Hira. His awards include Fellow of the Linnean Society of London and Fellow of the Geological Society of London. He was buried at Karori Cemetery.
