Biography of Thomas McMurtry

Thomas McMurtry (* 4. June 1935 in Crawfordsville; † 3. January 2015 in Los Angeles County) was a nASA test pilot. He was 79 years old. His education included University of Notre Dame and United States Naval Test Pilot School. He worked at United States Navy, Lockheed Martin and National Aeronautics and Space Administration. He received 4 awards, including NASA Exceptional Service Medal, NASA Outstanding Leadership Medal. He was buried at Good Shepherd Catholic Cemetery.
