Thomas Parran (* 28. September 1892 in St. Leonard; † 16. February 1968 in Pittsburgh) was a surgeon General of the United States. He was 75 years old. His education included St. John's College and Charlotte Hall Military Academy. He worked at University of Pittsburgh. His awards include Léon Bernard Foundation Prize and Mendel Medal.
