Biography of Thomas Sebeok

Thomas Sebeok (* 9. November 1920 in Budapest; † 21. December 2001 in Bloomington) was an american semiotician. He was 81 years old. He was married to Jean Umiker-Sebeok. His education included Princeton University, University of Chicago and Fasori Gimnázium. His awards include Guggenheim Fellowship and Fellow of the Committee for Skeptical Inquiry.
