He was 90 years old. His education included Pontifical Oriental Institute and Masaryk University. His faith was Catholic Church. He received 8 awards, including Recipient of the Order of Tomáš Garrigue Masaryk, 4th class, South Moravian Region Award. He was buried at Velehrad.
