Biography
Tomas Tranströmer (* April 15, 1931 in Stockholm; † March 26, 2015 in Stockholm) was a swedish poet, psychologist and translator. He was 83 years old. He was married to Monica Bladh. His education included Stockholm University and Södra Latin. His faith was atheism. He received 10 awards, including Aftonbladet Literary Award, Sveriges Radio's Poetry Prize. His cause of death was stroke. He was buried at Katarina kyrkogård.
