Toni Morrison (* February 18, 1931 in Lorain; † August 5, 2019 in The Bronx) was an african American novelist, essayist, and academic. She was 88 years old. She was married to Harold Morrison. Her education included Lorain High School, Howard University and Cornell University. Her faith was Catholicism. She received 9 awards, including Nobel Prize in Literature, Commandeur des Arts et des Lettres. Her cause of death was pneumonia. She was buried at South-View Cemetery.
