Biography
Tony Judt (* January 2, 1948 in London; † August 6, 2010 in New York City) was a british-American historian. He was 62 years old. His education included University of Cambridge, King's College, Emanuel School and École Normale Supérieure. He received 4 awards, including Hannah Arendt Prize, Fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. His cause of death was amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.
