Townsend F. Dodd (* 6. March 1886 in Anna; † 5. October 1919 in Bustleton) was a first US Pilot of World War I to receive the DSM. He was 33 years old. He studied at University of Illinois system. He was awarded the Distinguished Service Medal. He was buried at Arlington National Cemetery.
