Biography of Turgut Cansever

Turgut Cansever (* 12. September 1921 in Antalya; † 22. February 2009 in Kadıköy) was a türkischer Architekt und Schriftsteller. He was 87 years old. His education included Galatasaray High School, Istanbul State Academy of Fine Arts, Istanbul University and Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University. His awards include Aga Khan Award for Architecture and Presidential Culture and Arts Grand Awards. He was buried at Edirnekapı Martyr's Cemetery.
