Turgut Özal (* 13. October 1927 in Malatya; † 17. April 1993 in Hacettepe Adult Hospital) was a türkischer Politiker, Staats- und Ministerpräsident. He was 65 years old. He studied at Istanbul Technical University. His faith was Islam. His awards include Honorary Companion of the Order of Australia, Order of Australia and honorary doctor of Baku State University. His cause of death was myocardial infarction. He was buried at Mausoleum of Turgut Özal.
