Biography
Ulrich Beck (* May 15, 1944 in Słupsk; †January 1, 2015 in Munich) was a german sociologist & scholar. He was 70 years old. He was married to Elisabeth Beck-Gernsheim. His education included Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München and London School of Economics and Political Science. He received 7 awards, including Otto von der Gablentz award, Schader Award. His cause of death was myocardial infarction.
