Urie Bronfenbrenner (* April 29, 1917 in Moscow; † September 25, 2005 in Ithaca) was a russian American developmental psychologist. He was 88 years old. His education included University of Michigan, Cornell University and Harvard Graduate School of Education. He received 6 awards, including Anisfield-Wolf Book Awards, Honorary doctor of the Technical University of Berlin. His cause of death was diabetes.
