Biography of Van Cliburn

Van Cliburn (* 12. July 1934 in Shreveport; † 27. February 2013 in Fort Worth) was an american pianist. He was 78 years old. His education included Juilliard School and Mary Pappert School of Music. His faith was Baptists. He received 6 awards, including National Medal of Arts, Presidential Medal of Freedom. His cause of death was bone cancer. He was buried at Greenwood Memorial Park and Mausoleum.
