Biography of Vasily Stepanovich Petrov

Vasily Stepanovich Petrov (* 5. March 1922 in Dmytrivka; † 15. April 2003 in Kyiv) was a twice Hero of the Soviet Union. He was 81 years old. His education included École supérieure de commandement de l'artillerie de Soumy and Lviv University. He received 5 awards, including Hero of the Soviet Union, Order of the October Revolution. He was buried at Baikove Cemetery.
