Indian-American writer (1934–2021)
Ved Mehta (* 21. March 1934 in Lahore; † 9. January 2021 in Manhattan) was an indian-American writer. He was 86 years old. His education included Harvard University, Balliol College, Pomona College, University of Oxford and Arkansas School for the Blind. He worked at The New Yorker. His awards include Guggenheim Fellowship, MacArthur Fellows Program and Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature. His cause of death was Parkinson's disease.
