Biography of Vera Pless

Vera Pless (* 5. March 1931 in Chicago; † 2. March 2020 in Oak Park) was an uS-amerikanische Mathematikerin. She was 88 years old. Her education included University of Chicago and Northwestern University. She worked at University of Illinois at Chicago, Boston University, Air Force Research Laboratory and Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She was awarded the Fellow of the American Mathematical Society. She was buried at Oakridge Glen Oaks Cemetery.
