Biography of Violeta Parra

Violeta Parra (* 4. October 1917 in San Carlos; † 5. February 1967 in La Reina) was a chilenische Folkloremusikerin. She was 49 years old. She had at least 1 child (1 son). She worked at University of Concepción. Her awards include Latin Songwriters Hall of Fame and Latin Grammy Hall of Fame. She was buried at Santiago General Cemetery.
