Vito Acconci (* January 24, 1940 in The Bronx; † April 27, 2017 in Manhattan) was an american designer, landscape architect, performance and installation artist. He was 77 years old. He was married to Maria Acconci and Rosemary Mayer. His education included College of the Holy Cross and Regis High School. His awards include Guggenheim Fellowship and Rome Prize. His cause of death was stroke.
